Magic labyrinth «Daily routines». Чарівний лабіринт «Щоденні справи»

Objectives:

- repeat the studied material on the topic " Daily routine "and" Animals ";

- consolidate all lexical and spelling skills;

- keep the students interested in learning English language.

Equipment: a maze map on which schematically depicts the stages of movement of teams from the beginning to the end the maze (the card is hung out before the start of the game on the board);

the English alphabet, the letters of which are indicated by numbers;

questionnaire with lettered answer options; car-points with dialogues;

"Magic keys" (pictures on which depicts the answer words for each competition.

These keys students must show at the end of the game to open the door and get out of the magic labyrinth.

If they don't have a key, they are encouraged to talk about their daily routine);

assignments for competition cards 5 and 6; B prizes.

Event progress

The teacher tells the students that the evil wizard did not believe that they know English, and decided to test them.

To do this, he enchanted their classroom, and now it’s a labyrinth.

To pass it, the students must endure all the tasks.

Class is divided into 2-3 teams which take part in the game.

Procedure

1. Guess the Word

A picture showing the action is displayed, or subject, students should write down these words, and from the first letters guessed words make up the word that will be the first key.

2. Riddles

Each team is invited to solve a riddle, a solution will be the key.

3. Friendly Numbers
