Toys and games

Aim : to identify toys. To talk about possession.

Vocabulary : ball, train, robot

Lesson time: 35 minutes

Procedures

І. Greeting

- Good morning boys and girls! Nice to meet you. Sit down, please.

II. Warm up

How are you today?

(pupils listen and sing a song “Hello”)

T: How are you… today?

P1 P2 P3…

b) Today the topic of our lesson is “Toys and games”

c) By the end of the lesson we'll repeat the names of the toys you have learnt and talk about their possession.

ІII. Main part

1. Vocabulary

a) Slide (a bike) - (a train) (pupils see pictures and name them)

b) Game “Disappearing words” (pupils see pictures and name them; one picture disappear pupils name it)

c) Game “Snowball” ( Teacher organize pupils into 1^st team, give the 1^st team snowball naming the word and so do with the 2^nd , 3^rd ….)

2. Writing

Teacher gives pupils HO, they practice writing in the cards

a) Game “SHOW ME”

(teacher names the toy pupils show it)

3. Grammar

Make up a sentence (I HAVE GOT A…\\ I HAVEN'T GOT A…)

4. Speaking.

Summarizing

At Home repeat all the names of the toys with your parents
