Свята. Різдво в Великобританії

Мета: познайомити учнів з особливостями святкування Різдва в Великобританії; вчити використовувати нову лексику в мовленні, тренувати учнів у читанні з метою повного розуміння тексту; розвивати навички письма

та аудіювання; виховувати повагу до традицій свого народу та народу країни мова якої вивчається .

Обладнання: малюнки до теми, компьютер.

Хід уроку

I. Організаційна частина уроку

Привітання та перевірка готовності

- Stand up!

- Get ready for the lesson

- Goоd morning! How are you today?

- Sit down please.

II. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного матеріалу

1. Повідомлення теми і мети уроку

- Today we are going to talk about Christmas in Great Britain.

2. Мовленнєва розминка

- You know that British people like to sing. Let’s sing one of the carols «We wish a Marry Christmas» (виконують рухи під музику)

We wish you a Merry Christmas (2)
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

3. Перевірка засвоєння лексики

Let’s check up how you know the words.

- Look at the pictures and say what is this?

III. Основна частина уроку

1. Подання тексту для читання впр. 4 с. 54

1) Етап підготовки до читання.

- Answer my questions:

- Do you like Christmas day?

- Do you have a lot of fun on this day?

- When does this holiday become?

- Does your mother cook tasty food on this day?

- Do like to give presents to your mother, father, grandparents and friends?

- So let’s read the text about Christmas in Great Britain.

2) Етап перевірк розуміння прочитаного

- And now answer the questions below the text.

2. Розвиток умінь аудіювання. Текст Father Christmas gets in stuck.

1) Введення нової лексики

sleigh - сані

chimney - димар

to stick (stuck) - застряти

to wave — махати рукою

to climb — лізти

2) Прослуховування тексту

Listen to the text and then put the pictures in the right order (малюнки на дошці потрібно розмістити у правильному порядку та відтворити сюжет історії).

- What did you understand?

- Children who can retell the story using the pictures on the blackboard?

- What did the Father Christmas do?

- On which house did he stop?

- What has happened with the Father Christmas?

- What did the children do?

- What did the Father Christmas give to the children?

- How did the story end?

Father Christmas gets in stuck

It was December 24^th. It was Christmas Eve. Father Christmas packed his Christmas presents. He flew very fast through the sky. He stopped his sleigh at house number 12. He climbed down the chimney. Oh, no! He got stuck! Help!

And the children woke up!

The boy and the baby pulled Father Christmas boots.

Father Christmas laughed and laughed. He gave the children their presents.

He gave the boy a kite and the baby a bear. Thank you!

But he didn’t go up the chimney. Oh no! He opened the door and waved goodbye.

- Сhildren open your copy-books and write down the date and class-work

- Today is Thursday, the 9^th of December and class-work

- Then open your books at p. 57 ex 4

- Let’s read the task. Answer the questions and write down the answers.
