Мета:
- вчити здійснювати усне спілкування з теми «Помешкання»;
- формувати мовні навички і мовленнєві вміння;
- вчити працювати в команді;
- тренувати учнів правильно вживати лексичний матеріал;
- практикувати учнів у вживанні граматичних структур There is/there are;
- підвищувати загальну культуру спілкування;
- розширювати філологічний кругозір;
- розвивати логічне мислення, здатність до здогадки;
- розвивати вміння переносу знань і навичок у нову ситуацію нa основі здійснення проблемно-пошукової діяльності;
- розвивати фонетичний та інтонаційний слух;
- виховувати любов до власної оселі;
- виховувати культуру інтелектуальної праці;
- виховувати самостійність і працьовитість, толерантність.
Обладнання: комп’ютер, мультимедійний проектор, екран, підручник, робочий зошит, flashcards, mind-map, сюжетні малюнки.

English homes.
Some English families live in flats, but lots of people have got their own houses. There are two floors in a traditional English house.
Two or three bedrooms and a bathroom are upstairs. The living-room, the dining-room, the kitchen and a hall are downstairs.
The living-room is usually a favourite in the house. There is always a sofa, some chairs and armchairs in it. There is often a carpet on the floor. It makes the room comfortable. The British people usually have a fireplace in the living- room. They sometimes call this room a sitting-room because they often spend evenings in armchairs near the fireplace. They read books, watch TV, listen to music or sit around and talk. People in Britain like their homes and often say, »There is no place like home» or «East or West, home is best.»

6. Гра «Дизайнери» (проектна робота)
Діти розділяються на три команди (5-6 чол.) Кожній команді дається конверт із набором меблів (ілюстрації), клей, аркуш паперу А3. Завдання меблювати: 1 група - кухню, 2 - спальню, 3 - жилу кімнату. На виконання 5-7 хв. Коли час вичерпано кожен з групи каже 1-2 речення, описуючі кімнату, яку вони «меблювали»
